About the Artist

Hello, friend!

My name is Megan Lindsey and I am the artist behind Hues & Blues. Thank you for being here. You honestly have no idea how much it means to me that people like my art and would even consider putting it in their homes! 

I have been drawing and creating for as long as I can remember. I never had any formal training but my mom never failed to encourage me to pursue my creative interests. Shortly after marrying my cute husband Connor, I persuaded my father-in-law to lend me his art supplies. I had no idea then how picking up that paint brush would change my future. 

Four years later, I have three beautiful little girls and a thriving art business. My art style has changed as I have changed, improved as I have improved, and ultimately stretched me in so many ways. (Much like motherhood has!) 

I tend to draw inspiration from nature, motherhood, and my memories and experiences. I am currently exploring a fun illustrative style and I am absolutely loving it. I can't wait to see where it takes me! 

Just remember that every purchase you make is supporting a real-life person with a real-life family and a real-life dream.
